The book of Romans is considered to be one of Paul's most theological and important epistles. It's written to a church that he had never even visited, yet desired to one day. He writes into a very intense and volatile context where there is racial bigotry between the Jews and Gentiles in the church. From beginning to end this book puts forth Christ as the cornerstone for the church and that now in Christ, we live "where Grace abounds". The book of Romans is all of our stories, we were wretched before Christ redeemed us and now He is given us His Spirit to release into the world.
